About Our Business
| Certified Pilot Cars, LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company, is owned and operated by Dana Neil Oaklund. Dana started in the trucking business in 1994; began driving tractor-trailers in 1996 and specialized in hauling over dimensional loads in 1998. That same year he was first certified as a Florida D.O.T. Pilot/Escort Flagger escorting loads part-time at nights and on weekends. Dana became a full time pilot/escort in 2003 and took over operations for Certified Overdimensional Escorting of Weston, FL in the beginning of 2005. In 2007 Dana changed the name of his business from "South Florida Pilot Car" to the current "Certified Pilot Cars, LLC". In doing so, Dana has expanded his business to offer pilot/escort services all across the United States and Canada with a vast network of certified, professional pilot/escorts.
